Welcome

Our 21st Festival is now over but has, with out doubt, been our most successful yet. 8,000 people watching the remarkable robot ASIMO, family venues selling out day after day, and dozens of the most imaginative people from the world of science coming here to share their ideas.

In total, 68,000 visitors came, enjoyed, were thrilled, entertained, mystified and enlightened by our celebration of science and technology.

Edinburgh is unquestionably still home to one of the greatest Science Festival's in the world!
