Development Coordinator (maternity cover for 9 months)

Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 pro-rata (dependent on experience)

Edinburgh International Science Festival is looking to recruit a Development Coordinator to help deliver its fundraising activities, and to provide support to the Development Manager and Business Director as required.

You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales, marketing or fundraising role, and ideally should have experience of dealing with corporate sponsors, trusts and individual donors. The person we are looking for is organised and motivated, with excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.

This is a fantastic experience for someone wishing to develop their skills as a fundraiser, and offers the opportunity to play an important role in the delivery of the 2011 Science Festival. If you enjoy a challenge and are suited to a fast moving working environment we would like to hear from you. You will need to be available from mid-July.
