Sponsorship of the Science Festival 2009 was attractive to REpower because it’s a local event that reaches a wide audience. It gave us the opportunity to spread the wind energy message to children and their parents, and also let REpower employees involve their families in their work. We timed a client event to coincide with the Festival, and the ‘Powerhouse of Genius’ floor at the top of the City Art Centre provided a unique and interesting backdrop to the evening. The Science Festival staff were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish, and really worked hard to make sure that REpower got as much out of the experience as possible.
