Talks: The Void

Professor Frank Close (University of Oxford)

Picture a world with no sun, moon, stars or Earth. Without matter can ‘nothing’ exist? Scientists from Aristotle to Einstein have pursued ‘the Void’ throughout history. Be taken on a lively story through ancient ideas and cultural superstitions to the frontiers of current research into the vacuum.

This event will be followed by a book signing session.
