You will have the Mother Earth of all adventures as you travel back to explore our planet’s past, embrace our planet’s present and predict our planet’s future. This Festival we are featuring our new stars r’ us tour of astrochemistry using a combination of posters, video material and hands on exhibits to reveal how chemistry controls the workings of the modern day universe.

How to get there
Situated in the heart of Edinburgh at the foot of Arthur's Seat, Our Dynamic Earth is easy to find. At the bottom of Holyrood Road, it neighbours the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the new Scottish Parliament. There is a car park at the venue, for which charges do apply. Waverley train station is just 15 minutes on foot or you can hop on one of Lothian Buses No. 35 & 36 or aboard any of the Edinburgh City sight seeing bus tour.

Our Dynamic Earth is open during the Festival:
Daily 10am - 5pm
Last Entry to attraction is 1hour 10 minutes before closing.
Admission charge:
Adults £9.50, Children (3-15) £5.95, Under 3’s FREE
Refreshments
The Food Chain café is open every day from 10am until 4:45pm. (5.45pm July & August) Hot meals are served between 12noon and 3pm.
