Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

The Royal Botanic Gardens were established in the year 1670. The Gardens are a place for everyone to discover and enjoy the world of plants. The 8, 23, and 27 buses all go past the East Gate and RBGE’s administration buildings. Parking is available around the perimeter of the Garden and on adjacent side streets. Parking is free at weekends and evenings, but is metered Mondays to Fridays between 8.30am and 5.30pm.

Many wonderful events will be held in The Botanic Gardens during the Science Festival. Join us on our Daily Garden Walks. Perhaps you might like to join us for Songs at Sunrise. Enjoy an early morning tour of the Garden, honing your bird identification skills and taking a closer look at some interesting plants
