Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh - Symposium Hall, Hill Square

This year the Royal College of Surgeons will host two debates during the Science Festival. The first, Designer Life, Scotlands Next Industrial Revolution, will explore the potential of synthetic life and the ethical questions it raises. The second debate entitled What Should Happen to Your Brain After You Die? will deal with issues relating to brain donation. It will look at questions such as 'Should we donate our brains for research after we die and if so, what kind of research is permissible?'
