St Cecilia’s Hall l was built in 1763 for the Edinburgh Musical Society and is the oldest purpose-built concert hall in Scotland. It is home to The University’s Russell Collection of Early Keyboard Instruments which is one of the finest collections of early keyboard instruments in the world. This collection includes more than 50 instruments dating from the late 16th century through to the early 19th Century. It is open to the public on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 2pm to 5pm. Admission free.
