The Science of Sweet Dreams

Is it possible to influence people as they sleep and give them their perfect dream? Today sees the launch of a new study that uses a specially designed iPhone app in an attempt to improve the dreams of millions of people around the world. If successful, the study will allow people to create their perfect dream and so wake up feeling especially happy and refreshed.

Robot Wars Champion at City Arts Centre

Typhoon 2 The UK Robot Wars TV Grand Champion is on display at the Edinburgh International Science Festival. This is its first public appearance after winning the Silver Medal at the World Robot Olympics in San Francisco where it sustained major damage while defeating a similar spinning American robot and could not be repaired in time to compete in the final.
