The next Edinburgh International Science Festival will run from 5 – 20 April 2014. The full programme for the Festival will be launched in February 2014 and tickets will go on sale at this time.
In the meantime, here’s a taster of some of the events which will be included in the programme…
- City Art Centre - Bringing together Science Festival favourites with some exciting new content, City Art Centre will once again be transformed into a science playground packed full of shows, workshops and interactive events.
- Edinburgh Mini Maker Faire – Returning for the second time after a tremendously successful first outing in 2013, Edinburgh Mini Maker Faire will celebrate maker culture in a day long showcase of all things DIY – featuring workshops, demonstrations, interactive shots and talks.
- GastroFest – A unique mini Festival celebrating the science of food and drink, GastroFest will deliver a vibrant and varied series of events. From discussions, workshops and presentations to novel dining experiences and event an interactive food market– there will be something to appeal to all appetites.
- LateLab – sociable science for adults where Festival goers can listen, learn, make, eat and interact. Part installation, part salon, LateLab will complement other events in our Festival programme, offering an environment in which scientists, technologists and enthusiasts from all fields can meet, exchange ideas and collaborate.
