Volcanic City Walk
More than 300 million years ago, a volcano punched its way to the surface of what is now the city of Edinburgh. Take a stroll through streets and parks and find out how geology helped shape the city's development.
Organised by Geowalks This walk will start at the Mound, go through Princes Street gardens and around the Castle Rock. Pace will be slow, covering 2.5km on smooth paths and pavements but with steep inclines.
