City Art Centre Day Pass

During the Science Festival we transform the City Art Centre into a science playground packed full of workshops, shows and interactive events. Whatever the age group, you’ll find something to suit – from our youngest explorers in Imagination Garden to the computer programmers of the future in our Robosports Arena. Look inside the human body, discover new technologies and marvel at the wonders of the natural world, without even leaving the building!

Facilities
There is a packed lunch area, secure buggy park, cloakroom, café and shop, all within the City Art Centre.

Book before 24 March and get £1 off all children’s day passes on Saturday 31 March, Saturday 7 April and Saturday 14 April.
Offer must be booked by phone or in person.

How to book
We strongly recommend that you purchase day passes in advance as the City Art Centre is extremely busy during the Science Festival.
Some events within the venue do have a limited capacity but you can reserve up to three of these in advance with each children’s day pass purchased. You can browse City Art Centre bookable events before or after you reserve your day pass.
To book day passes online and reserve bookable events online, follow the instructions below.
Step 1: Choose day passes
Click on the link below. Select the date you wish to visit the City Art Centre and add the appropriate day passes to your basket.
Step 2: Choose bookable events
Once your day passes have been added to your basket, click on the Categories list on the left and choose 'City Art Centre Bookable Event'.
Browse these events and add up to three events per children’s day pass to your basket.
Please note:
Bookable events are only available for children and cannot be added to adult day passes. You can add multiple reservations for bookable events where needed, up to a maximum of three events per children’s pass.
Step 3: Checkout
Click on ‘Go to Checkout’. Your basket will show details of all your day passes, plus your choice of free bookable events. Click on ‘Checkout and Pay’ to complete the booking process.
