About the event
The Heriot-Watt campus is a lovely, scenic spot for a walk with a side of learning. Framed by greenery and nature, the campus is brimming with intriguing facts about research into our climate's history.
On this 3km walk of the picturesque grounds you'll find out how tiny popcorn-like fossils have made a huge impact in unravelling past climate change. The trial is self-guided with interative posters with QR codes to help you navigate your way, so be sure to have your smartphone fully charged! We'll even have some word-jumbles for the little ones to solve!
We recommend 45 minutes of your time to enjoy this experience. There is plenty of free parking available around the campus (car parks B and A are closest). The trail starts and finishes outside the Oriam building, and COVID restrictions permitting, there may be refreshment facilities on site.
