Destination Space: Satellites and Weather

About the event

As part of Elements of #EdSciFest our festival programme partner, Dynamic Earth (the UK’s only Earth science centre), have developed a range of new resources called #DynamicEarthOnline.

We all use satellite technology every day, even if we don't realise it! One of the most important things scientists use satellites for is to predict the weather.

Discover how clouds can be used to monitor the weather and how to identify different cloud types by downloading our activity sheet here.
