Early Doors: Build and Break
Monday 15 — Tuesday 16 April
To provide an accessible environment for families with autistic children and children with complex sensory profiles we are hosting two early doors sessions at the National Museum of Scotland for Build and Break.
Build, break and create in our unique free play session. Visit BUILD IT to unlock your creative spirit and build magical, massive structures with our super-sized construction blocks then head over to BREAK IT to be set loose on a huge pile of discarded electronics with a screwdriver and a pair of pliers – rip old pieces of tech apart to discover what they are made of and learn which parts we might be able to reuse.
Entry for the early doors session will be the Chambers Street West entrance (the door to the right of the old entrance steps). It would be great if attendees could arrive as close as possible to this time. Please contact us is you are running late.
We are expecting around 30–40 people to each early doors session, and the event will run in the Grand Gallery at the Build and Break exhibition.
