Mapping the Future

Tuesday 3 April

We all love maps and making journeys, but this experience has advanced significantly, thanks to smarter geospatial information. In this event, we’ll reveal some of the developments being made by the industry. Our diverse panels includes President of the Royal Geographical Society, Prof Iain Stewart; CEO of Ordnance Survey Nigel Clifford; Prof Paul Longley of the University College London; Chief Science Advisor at the National Farmers' Union, Dr Helen Ferrier and founder of geospatialcompany, CARTOJavier de la Torre.

They will canvas the audience for instant feedback on geography-related ideas and take a closer look at the social, ethical and privacy considerations that come with all these advances.

Presented by Association for Geographic Information and Royal Scottish Geographical Society
