About the event
One of Edinburgh’s most iconic buildings, the National Museum of Scotland houses treasures from all around the world, all under one roof. National Museums Scotland care for collections of national and international importance, preserving them, interpreting them and making them accessible to as many people as possible. Their collections are a legacy which they look after on behalf of everyone in Scotland. Their wealth of objects represent everything from Scottish and classical archaeology to applied arts and design; from world cultures and social history to science, technology and the natural world.
During the Edinburgh Science Festival, you can enjoy Pale Blue Dot and Scotland’s Precious Seas – new exhibitions dedicated to Earth’s water worlds – online discussions with the Museum’s curators and family discovery trails at the National Museum of Scotland and the National Museum of Flight.
You must book a timed entry slot in advance to visit the National Museum of Scotland in person. Secure your free ticket here.
