Oceans in Crisis: A Public Debate
Saturday 6 April
We all rely on the seas for their abundant food, mineral and energy resources and yet more than 90% of the deep oceans remain totally unexplored. From microplastics to rising sea levels, human activity is changing our oceans before we have the chance to explore its full potential. This lively discussion will look at the challenges we face and how we can better understand our ocean world. Come prepared to put your questions to our panel of energy experts including Prof Teresa Fernandez, Dr Heather Stewart, Dr Babette Hoogakker, Prof Hamish Mair and Dr Fiona Murray, chaired by Prof Dorrik Stow.
