Party On

Friday 7 April

Get playful with exclusive adults-only access to our brand new Play On exhibition, accompanied by live music, visuals and some special hands-on activities.

As well as the chance to try out some amazing exhibition interactives, you can take on your friends in a game zone from the indie games duo We Throw Switches, try your hand at cyber security and enjoy some pop-up science as you get creative in our UV Drawing Room and bend your brain with the 3D maker modelling toy Stems.

There’ll also be short talks from games writer Kate Gray, Ed Newton-Rex, composer and founder of artificial intelligence start-up Jukedeck and Dr Ben Schogler, co-inventor and founder of Skoogmusic taking place in the Auditorium throughout the evening.

And of course there’s the chance to enjoy a drink or two from the bar, grab a bite to eat from our food stalls, and dance the night away with live music and video entertainment from the Pause Menu Band created by the Dennis & Debbie Club.

Please note: tickets will be available online until 6pm on Friday 7 April, then on the door at the National Museum of Scotland from 6.45pm

In association with the National Museum of Scotland
