About the event
Part of the Year of Coasts and Waters 2020–21, this small exhibition explores Scotland’s diverse sea life and the many threats facing our marine life.
National Museums Scotland's collections contain over 4 million marine invertebrates and 120,000 marine vertebrates. The objects on display demonstrate how these vast collections help us monitor the changing life in our waters and the impacts of human activity.
Find out about the scientific research measuring the impact of our activities on the marine environment and how global climate change is affecting the wildlife in our waters.
Booking is essential to visit the National Museum of Scotland.
