International Staff Manager

£90 UK / £150 UAE (daily rate) Temporary contract 13 weeks

About the role:

The Edinburgh Science Worldwide projects team are seeking an experienced Staff Manager to be part of our team to staff and deliver a cyber security training camp in April 2019. You will be responsible for recruiting and training temporary staff and venue managers for the delivery of the live event. This will include recruiting and training staff from both UK and UAE in order to provide Arabic-language delivery. You will then manage all delivery staff across five different cities in UAE, supported by a Staff and Venue manager in each venue. 

Temporary teams recruited by this post; 

  • Cyber Tutors (circa 60)
  • Staff and Venue Managers (5)

About you:

You have ideally worked in an overseas festival environment and have a sound understanding of festival settings and high-volume recruitment. You will bring exceptional people skills with experience in managing large groups of temporary staff. Proven skills in recruitment and selection methods and training delivery are essential. You will also be incredibly organised, competent in using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and used to meeting tight deadlines.You will enjoy working in fast-paced, busy UK and Overseas environments.
