About the role:
Edinburgh Science is seeking an experienced and ambitious candidate to join its Production and Projects Team as a Project Manager.
You will support the organisation in delivering a wide range of exciting science projects across its Festival and Learning portfolios (with the possibility of international project work as required).
You will lead the project management of multiple projects, formulating project plans, managing delivery timelines and budgets and coordinating internal departments and external contributors as required to deliver successfully on project objectives.
You will have a proven track record of complex project management and successfully delivering within scope, time and budget. You may have gained your experience in a similar festival/event sector environment or will be able to demonstrate this ability by discernible transferable skills.
You have demonstrable experience in managing cross-functional teams to deliver excellent results. A natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you will enjoy negotiating effectively and you work extremely hard at building and maintaining relationships.
Normal working hours are 9am–5pm Monday to Friday. Some weekend and evening work will be required.
