When working on these projects, we bring extensive expertise in creating and delivering interactive and entertaining educational experiences and provide content that is engaging and inspirational. We can also support partners with programme curation and event logistics and production, as well as providing Science Communication and event specific training for local staff.

Making It at the Royal Highland Show, Scotland
We brought elements of our Making It exhibition to the 2015 Royal Highland Show with support from the Forestry Commission. The show, which celebrates Scottish farming, food and rural life, was first held back in 1822 and is now Scotland’s largest outdoor event attracting 190,000 visitors annually.
Originally developed for Science Festival 2014, our Making It exhibition gives visitors a chance to immerse themselves in accessible technologies and discover the maker movement and its links to science, technology and design – from 3D printing to giant drawing machines, electronics and DIY biology. Visitors to the exhibition pods at the show were able to make Smartphone Microscopes and learn about the process of 3D printing as they watched a printer in action, conjuring up miniature versions of items from the forest.
