Your Ticket
Edinburgh Science Festival does not issue printed tickets. On booking, details of your ticket(s) will be sent to you by email and a copy of this email acts as your ‘ticket’.
Ticket prices
All ticket prices quoted are inclusive of VAT. We do not charge a booking fee for tickets booked through our box office. Fees for tickets booked through our partner venues may apply.
Exchanges and Refunds
In light of Coronavirus, our refund policy is changing. The safety and well-being of our visitors, participants and staff remains our number one priority and we are closely monitoring the latest advice from the Scottish Government, UK Government and Public Health Scotland. We will continue to update our plans based on the latest recommendations and, in the meantime, are working with Festival venues and partners to implement a range of measures that will allow us to run our events safely.
We appreciate that our customers may be affected by this developing situation and for your peace of mind, we would like to confirm the following:
Latecomers
Latecomers may be asked by our Front of House staff to wait for a suitable break during the event to take their seats. We reserve the right to refuse entry to latecomers if there is no suitable break during the event.
Data Collection
We have an annual programme of research to help us understand our audiences and your experience of attending the Festival. This includes (but is not limited to) an online survey. All bookers will be invited to participate in the research but are under no obligation to take part. Full details of the processes are provided when you are invited to participate. All research is carried out according to Market Research Society guidelines.
We will also collect and analyse aggregate data on purchases, buying patterns and audience trends to inform research and service design.
