We have an incredible 25 years' experience in delivering science education activities and since we started we've reached almost a million pupils.

Generation Science
The main project in our education programme is Generation Science, which visits schools across Scotland from February to May each year. In our most recent tour we delivered over 1,600 interactive science shows and workshops in over 560 primary schools, reaching over 58,000 pupils.

All Generation Science shows and workshops are linked to the experiences and outcomes of the Scottish Government's Curriculum for Excellence. Our aim is to improve the teaching of science in Scottish primary schools and support teachers to deliver the curriculum. In essence, we make learning and teaching science fun!

The next Generation Science tour will run from January to May and our new 2018 programme is now available.

Careers Hive
Our newest education project, Careers Hive was designed to open students eyes to the wealth of opportunities available to those who have studied STEM subjects. In 2017, the latest installment of this immersive experience included school sessions for groups of S1-S3 pupils from 27 February – 3 March and a public open day on 4 March. Careers Hive 2018 will run from 26 February – 3 March.

Fuselab Go
In 2015 we were also out on tour with Fuselab Go. In this innovation and creativity ‘boot camp’ 15-18 year olds are challenged to come up with innovations to aid the development of a sustainable way of life on a new planet over two days of intensive workshops, presentations and activities.
