Lyceum Theatre

The Royal Lyceum Theatre has been home to the Royal Lyceum Theatre Company – Scotland’s leading producing theatre with a strong reputation for excellence in classical, contemporary and community work – since 1965.

The auditorium is a splendid example of Victorian theatre architecture with ornate fixtures - a proscenium arch, deep red curtains, plush velvet seats and a stunning crystal chandelier. There are seats on three levels (Stalls, Grand Circle, Upper Circle); all have excellent access to bars, function rooms and facilities and are easily reached via lifts and stairs.

Access information:
Designated blue badge parking spaces are available directly opposite the theatre. Staff will be on had to assist with entry, there is street level access to the foyer and café and lift access to all levels. Designated wheelchair spaces are available and all levels of the theatre have induction loops. You can travel to The Royal Lyceum Theatre on the following Lothian Buses services: 1, 10, 11, X15, 16, 24, 35, 36, 47.
