University of Edinburgh Centre for Cognitive and Neural Systems

The Centre for Cognitive and Neural Systems at 1 George Square is the venue for one event during the Science Festival. This will involve a lecture in the Gaddum Lecture Theatre then a tour of working research labs, and finally a reception in the library/common room.

Access information: 

There is wheelchair access to all floors of the Centre.  The main entrance is fully accessible via a ramp and a specially adapted lift. There is a specially adapted toilet on the ground floor.  There is ample parking around George Square and blue-badge holders may park directly outside the building all day.

Getting there:

You can travel to the Centre for Cognitive and Neural Systems on the following Lothian Buses services: 41, 42, 47, 67.

Many of our venues in and around the city centre are easily accessible on foot and by public transport so please consider the environment when planning your travel to and from our events.
